This sponge of a Google girl
soaks up the dribble
of a million minds -
minutiae.

How seasoned she will be
with dross and doom -
banality
purporting to be meaningful.

A thousand times the end of days
has been foretold, retold,
and sold to simple minds.

It's so unkind
to lead them on with hope
that all the pain they feel
may soon be gone.

They have no way to do the math,
or plot their days and pain
upon a graph.

Words fall like cataracts
to blind the eyes of those
whose sight once clear
is now befouled with blight.

you must be reading the wrong blogs *cheeky grin*

Yes, there is a lot of misery and dross out there, but also sites that offer hope and light.

The internet is a wild west world these days, some lovely little internal rhymes in this piece btw :)

Yeah I prolly do read the wrong stuff :D
It's a terrible time waster, the internet ...

It's a bit like being able to hear the thoughts of all the people around you all the time.

Thanks for taking the time to read me at any rate :)
