Fairy Tale

a fairy's heart burns with light,
fierce feathered spikes
luminate incandescent

the art of a fairy spins dreams
in a vortex of magic
pruned from the minds of children

a fairy will be free
and scatter along ribbons of air
to secret forest dells

Yum

Fairy light
dances the cadence
of magic upon the sky

to bring us dreams
in spiced honey smiles

A child's delight
curving upon the
laughter
echoing and cavorting
across our sight

*claps hands* that's beautiful! I love it!
Yours is much better than mine actually. Much fresher. Lovely :)

Actually your poems makes me think of that story, 'The Little Prince', have you read it? It's lovely

The little Princess does not ring a bell, I will have to research it now unless you have a link for me perhaps?

hmm, let me see ....

oh look, the whole thing is posted online:

and I remember watching a charming movie of it, though it may be a little dated now, but worth watching for the boy who plays the little prince. He was gorgeous.
