Slip Knot
The deed was done
and they were undone
all in one, like a string
tied in a bow,
slipped loose with a single pull.
Like grass in its ritual of growth -
so easy.

The knots we sometimes foolishly tie in our lives...are they so easily untied, like grass in its ritual of growth? I am not sure but you sure give me courage to face the new day! Brilliant!
yeah, I'm not sure about the grass either. still thinking on it.
why not sure?
I think it gives the required image
perfectly
you wished to projected the simplicity
of how it was done/happened
and the grass was a perfect way to do so.
And ritual of growth
dont get me started on how
it is such a unique way to say it
Fabulous!!!!
Encore!!!
lol, you're such an easy audience ...
thanks
I am not easy, although, I am fairly cheap lol
Listen up Moon *semi serious expression*,
it is often difficult for a writer to know when and how they hit the mark, without the readers telling them so.
It is good to get validation sometimes
I think, least for me.
Neverman
yeah, that's very true. I'm certainly no judge of my own work.
It just seemed that the grass ritual was a long jump from the knot tying?
The way a poem plays out
relies more on what is said
than how sometimes
It fits for me,
maybe Im insane *dont answer that lol*
but it does
The considered opinion of the Neverman
:)
Waiting for your next post, impatiently
