New Books!

My poem Alphabetical just won me a $100 book prize at the university I attend, so I just went out and bought myself some yummy books:

T.S. Eliot The Waste Land and other poems

T.S. Eliot Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats

Katherine Mansfield Letters and Journals by C.K. Stead

Witi Ihimaera His Best Short Stories

Lord knows when I'll get time to read them ...

things are going great, but frantically busy! Everytime I think I have things under control something else crops up.
Right now my dog is on heat and there's a stray boy hanging around her so I have to make an appointment to get her fixed.

I have two clsses to finish to complete my degree and both of them seem to have a lot of pieces of assessment for me to do which is a bit of a pain, but never mind.
Once I habd them all in I'll be finished.
Then all I have to do is decide whether I want to take honours next year or find a job.

I tell ya one thing planners and a great memory are wonderful to have. lol... I have a planner but not a great memory...lol... I hope everything goes well and if you need anything just tell me and i will see what i can do okay...
love always,

Thanks Pris. I don't know about the competition. It looks really difficult to me. Hard to put those phrases together without being hackneyed and cliched?

Ah, the thrill of buying brand new books - on someone else's dime no less! Enjoy - don't worry about when you'll read them Moon.
