Two Chamber Heart

She had a womb
shaped like a heart.
Two chambers
divided against themselves,
conquered
by a fetal echo
but unable to release the child
when full term turned.

A scalpel drew the escape,
hand of man,
flesh of man,
encased in rubber,
cut a path. She thought,

if she had thought
to cover flesh with rubber
in the first place,
she would never have needed.

Clever clever

Ahhh, if only the boundless freedom of lust were so easily contained and retrained, but alas, the heat of passion takes the mind and removes sense *grin*

lol, yeah. all thoughts of rubber tend to flee the mind. can't say as it ever happened to me though. after seeing what my family went through when my sister got pregnant at 17 I kept my legs firmly closed until I was old enough to take care of myself and any little person who might happen along.
